Centralizer Jetting
BACK
2 Min. 50 Sec.
Centralizer cleaning is desirable when pipe diameters exceed 12 inches. All available pump energy is available to expedite the cleaning process, as maximum energy is delivered to the pipe wall. Centralizers are frequently employed to remove bonded materials such as failing lining systems. Navigation in piping where heavy corrosion deposits or significant levels of debris is present can inhibit movement of the tool. Inspection of the host pipe, prior to tool selection, is advised. Visual media illustrates removal of a polyurea liner and resin fiber pipe patch installation. Cleaning was performed at 20,000 PSI.

Lance Jetting
BACK
Lance cleaning is advantageous when cleaning smaller 6 through 12 inch pipe. Pipe sizes to 48 inches can be processed however, cleaning rates are considered to be slow. Lances can be deployed through any access or opening larger than two inches. Rotation of the lance disrupts friction allowing the tooling to be deployed 1200 feet from an insertion point even when navigation through multiple 90o fittings is required. As above, cleaning to 40,000 PSI is possible without damaging the host pipe. Higher pressures allow removal of difficult materials such as bauxite, 10,000 PSI concrete ect...
